In addition to regular project activities, We women is also in the process of carrying out research with partner organization, Bridging Educational Access to Migrants (BEAM). The research aims to identify educational aspirations and gaps in educational opportunities for migrants from Burma living in the Chiang Mai area. The objective of the research is to attract further assistance for the community and to instruct innovations in our own programs. We women plans to research additional relevant subjects in the future to better inform projects.

As a result of on-going research, a gender program was designed for 2013. Also in 2013, the research on needs and possibilities for We women to start activities in Burma will be completed.
